Further Information

Odense is the third largest city in Denmark situated on the island of Funen. In 1988 the city celebrated its 1000-year anniversary. Odense enjoys the largest collection of museums and attractions outside the capital. It is the main garden city in Denmark with a relaxed atmosphere and low housing density.

Odense plans to improve transport provision for all public and commercial use. Its aims are to reduce the environmental nuisance, address the use of cars related to workplaces and improve cycling facilities, with a special focus on shorter trips.
