The overall goal of the Graz Energy Agency (GEA) is to promote the efficient, environmentally, climatically and socially favourable provision of energy services while simultaneously strengthening the regional economy and creating new jobs. It takes up an operative and implementation oriented role for the realization of concrete projects based on the goals of the Municipal Energy Plan of Graz.

Areas of expertise:

1. Promoting energy efficiency and renewable energies
2. Overcoming barriers through new organisation and financing models (esp. third party financing)
3. Consulting and services for energy efficiency projects

The Graz Energy Agency cooperates with other institutions and companies working in this field. Networking activities form an important part of its work.

Target audience: housing associations, contractors, building owners, local authorities.
