The main mission of the Armenian Association of Energy Engineers (AAEE) is to promote
national and regional energy and ecological issues solving and to contribute to energy
engineering sustainable development for the benefit of society.
The Armenian Association of Energy Engineers is a non-governmental non-profit
organization founded for the purpose to contribute to:
- Sustainable development of education and scientific achievements in the field of energy
engineering,
- Implementation of new approaches and technologies,
- Extension and development of energy market, information field formation
- Increase of energy engineers professional qualification, their continuous professional
development,
- Enhance appropriative energy-related awareness and mentality of population,
- Inculcation of Engineering Ethics concept in professional circles,
- Dialogue and experience exchange between countries,
- Regional cooperation between countries of Transcaucasia.
Armenian Association of Energy Engineers is politically neutral and independent. AAEE
represents and advocates the rights and interests of energy engineers, energy consumers and
members of Association.
The activity of Association is directed to the welfare of the nation, its future prosperity, national
safety and stability achievement for future generations.
The goals of Armenian Association of Energy Engineers are:
- Coming-to-be and development of traditional and alternative energy as the science
working for the benefit of branch and higher education in Armenia.
- Energy engineers' professional knowledge and skills level increase, their continuous
professional development.
- Increase of awareness, culture and mentality in energy field among population, energy
consumers and children.
- Expanded use and development of renewable and small energy as more economical and
ecologically favorable alternative to traditional energy.
- To represent and advocate the interests and rights of energy engineers and energy
consumers.
- To contribute to national energy and environment legislation improvement by proposing
new lows or changes in existing lows to executive and legislative national bodies.
- Collaboration in the field of energy engineering between Transcaucasia countries with a
view to contribute to regional power system development and good-neighbor relations
establishing between them.
- Mediation between national and international non-governmental and governmental
organizations, associations, establishments and private persons whose activity touches the
energy field. To provide a forum for sharing of ideas, information and experience among its
members.
- Development of experts, students and volunteers exchange in energy sphere among the
CIS countries and abroad.
- Formation, growth and development of the traditional and alternative energy market in
territory of the Armenian Republic.
- Formation and development of traditional and renewable energy market by creating
information field accessible to all interested persons.
- Armenian and foreign capital formation in modern and alternative power branch.
Areas of expertise: dissemination of information, promote increase of awareness, culture
and mentality in energy field among population, children, energy consumers.
Target audience: young generation, pupils, students, families, community
