The Energy Service Company (ESCO - Verein Nachhaltige Stoffstromwirtschaft und Energie-management) was founded 2003 as non-profit-oriented association. Main objective of ESCO is sustainable energy management. This shall be reached through promotion of renewable energies, renewable primary products and energy saving measures. ESCO offers energy consulting for citizens and communities. Buildings are analysed with the aid of thermography, to show thermal bridges and weakness of the building envelope. For awareness raising, informative events are organised and information material (brochures etc.) is compiled. Furthermore already existing networks shall be extended through involvement of stakeholders and actors in the field of local and regional energy supply.
