Energieagentur Schleswig-Holstein believes that rational use of energy, development and employment of innovative energy technologies, energy conservation and the use of renewable energy sources are not only important in order to reach climate protection goals, but will also strengthen the economy of the Schleswig-Holstein region.

The energy agency was created in 1991 as part of Investitionsbank Schleswig-Holstein, in order to increase the information available and offer neutral, independent, qualified, free consultation to target groups.
