  The conference was very good and much improved over the previous year. It was useful to hear the Commission news and plans and to meet up with other Agencies. I very much value the opportunity to meet and work with other agencies and we will be keen to explore possiblilities for 'cluster' activities in 2003. Networking between delegates: Suggestions and comments from Graham Ayling, Severn Wye Energy Agency
 

The conference was both useful and enjoyable. These suggestions are aimed mainly at allowing delegates to make the most of the networking opportunities arising from a meeting of so many Energy Agency representatives.

  • Delegates could be asked to provide a list of key interests to be published on the delegates list. This would help with identification of potential partners for specific projects.
  • Delegates could be asked to provide a photograph with their registration information which could be included on the delegate list to help with identification.
  • If possible, it would be useful to run smaller workshops with more opportunity for discussion. This could help the Commission to get feedback from the Agencies and would help delegates to meet representatives of other Agencies with similar interests.
