The Nordic Bioenergy conference takes place every second year. Last time, the conference took place in Stockholm, Sweden. In 2011, it will be held in Central Finland. Nordic Bioenergy 2011 is a place to meet Bioenergy professionals, to see innovative ideas and best practices and to explore business opportunities.

The 11th European Forum on Eco-innovation “Working with emerging economies for green growth”, will look to identify global opportunities for eco-innovation and opportunities for green trade between developed and developing nations. The forum will review practical examples of making trade work on the ground with the intention of identifying the challenges and generating recommendations for policies that create a new platform to increase the global green market.

More than 1,000 experts from the energy industry will get together during the Vaasa EnergyWeek taking place between 19th and 22nd March 2012 in Vaasa. The Vaasa region is the home of EnergyVaasa, the most important centre of energy technology in the Nordic Countries. EnergyVaasa is organising the event in cooperation with several regional public service organisations.
