Trade Fair and Conference for Bioenergy, Renewable Energy and Energy Efficient Building and Renovation
The exhibition is accompanied by conferences in building with wood, near-surface geothermal, biogas, energy, education and training and is supported by numerous partners and associations. It informs its visitors about applications, products and financing of renewable energy, energy-efficient refurbishment of old buildings and building techniques. The participants get information on current energy specialist topics, reports from the field and the possibility of sharing experiences.

EPIA, the European Photovoltaic Industry Association, is organising, with the CPV Consortium as main partner, the 1st EPIA International Conference on Concentrator Photovoltaics (CPV). This one-day event will focus on all aspects of CPV project development (i.e. financial, regulatory, commercial and technological). All relevant CPV industry players will provide an analysis of the current situation of CPV market and technology.

The GRIDS 2010 conference organised by the European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) will provide policy-makers, industry leaders and engineering experts with a platform to debate the issues surrounding the design, planning and building of new European electricity infrastructure. Policy, technical and business issues will all be tackled at this two-day conference and exhibition.

The 19th European Biomass Conference and Exhibition will take place in Berlin, Germany (6-10 June 2011). The Technical Programme is coordinated by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre.

NGV2011 Berlin, the 2nd NGVA Europe International Show & Workshops, will be held on 7-9 June 2011, in Berlin, Germany. This is a NGVA Europe (European NGV Association) event, hosted by Erdgas Mobil – German NGV Association - and organised by NGV Communications Group. It will include an exhibition and five workshops which will address topics of the utmost importance to the NGV industry.

The EU PVSEC is an international conference for photovoltaic research and technology, industry and application, and at the same time a leading PV industry exhibition. Around 300 presentations, over 1,000 visual poster presentations, several workshops, as well as specific PV industry fora are part of the EU PVSEC Programme.

"Communication and cooperation" to bring climate action on a local level, working closely between cities, utilities, SMEs and research is the aim of the event orgainzed together with the Covenant of Mayors for sustainable development and the energy agency of NRW. EU-energy commissioner Günther Oettinger and minister Guntram Schneider will attend the event on Friday 16 September.

PHOTOVOLTAICS | FORMS | LANDSCAPES A parallel event in the framework of the 26th European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition. The event will highlight the interaction of photovoltaic systems with buildings and landscapes, by showing how architects take up this challenge. Four keynote presentations on the transition from photovoltaic architecture into urban and non-urban landscapes will be followed by a round table discussion.
