The CASCADE IEE project is organising a seminar on local energy leadership in Zabrze, Poland, on 13 March 2014, during the General Assembly of the Association of Polish Cities (ZMP). The participants will have the chance to learn about the CASCADE peer-to-peer learning methodology and how it has helped the City of Warsaw further improve its climate and energy policies. They will also learn more about SEAP implementation in the Polish context and they will have the opportunity to network.

The Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES) invites all Greek local authorities to participate in the first of the Covenant of Mayors (CoM) capacity building workshops that will take place all around Europe in the coming years, co-financed by the Covenant of Mayors Office. The workshop will take place on March 13, 2014 in Thessaloniki, Greece, under the auspices of the Central Union of Municipalities of Greece, the City of Thessaloniki and the Greek Green Cities Network.

Mayors in Action focuses on Coordinators and Supporters of the CoM (C&S). The goal of the training workshop, launching the project, is to foster and empower C&S in selecting, adapting and channeling good practices for the implementation and monitoring of existing SEAPs. The attendees will be given an opportunity to learn from some of the more ad vanced C&S and to enter tutoring and coaching schemes for the future.
