This ManagEnergy workshop will explore how to support local authorities and collaborate with Member States in the renovation of public buildings.

The event aims to present webtools for supporting local authorities in better energy planning. These instruments are elaborated in the framework of IEE project eReNet (Rural Web Energy Learning Network for Action - http://erenet.epu.ntua.gr). The seminar will take place in the administrative building of the Municipality and will welcome experts from every interested Municipality.

The aim of the GeoDH workshops is to identify and assess barriers to Geothermal District Heating projects in 14 countries in order to create and present recommendations for their removal. Participants are invited from a variety of backgrounds and from those fields which may have relevant information or knowledge to contribute on the discussion on Geothermal and District Heating in these countries. The Conference aims to spread knowledge and experience on tried-and tested methods of reducing the energy consumption of households in European islands. The ultimate goal of the event is to implement awareness raising campaigns addressed to households in at least 4 further European islands, starting from June 2013. In this context, the project will select and invite 20 experts to the event coming from at least 10 different islands. An Expression of Interest can be filled in by 15 February 2013.

Workshop targeting local Romanian authorities. Objective: collecting information about the current local non-technical administrative/regulatory barriers to install heating and cooling systems with geothermal heat pumps. Encourage local authorities in drawing their own Sustainable Energy Action Plans in order to assume a part of 20/20/20 national target.

Following the success of its past edition,has reached its 6th edition the most important annual energy-related event, to be held at Mostra d'Oltremare, Naples, from 11th to 13th April 2013. EnergyMed is a unique opportunity for companies, local bodies, associations and technical experts to exchange information and know-how on the innovations which characterise the main sector of the event: renewable sources, energy efficiency, sustainable mobility, green building, recycling and energy recovery.

It will be held in cooperation with Energy Centre Bratislava on 11 and 12 April 2011 - in the same week as the 29th CONECO/RACIOENERGIA International Construction Fair in Bratislava.

This is the final national conference of the MED project named "MEDEEA" centred on the promotion of local energy planning. More than 70 municipalities in 9 partner regions have been involved in the Covenant of Mayors procedures and in the application of the European Energy Award, a standard methdology for certification of local energy policies. The conferece is organised in the framework of the big fair named EnergyMed organised each year in Naples.

The Baltic Sea Region Covenant Club host a network and discussion session in relation to the Union of Baltic Cities Joint Commission Meeting 10-12 April 2013 in Tallinn, Estonia. The two day event will be focusing on various aspects of sustainable transportation in the Baltic Sea Region sparked by the City of Tallinn’s Free Public Transport Initiative.
