A major objective of ManagEnergy is to share intelligence between agencies in different parts of Europe, and to replicate projects that have demonstrated positive results in energy efficiency, sustainability and environmental impact.

Promoting Good Practice across Europe

ManagEnergy collects case studies from energy agencies and other energy actors, describing particular projects or activities that were successfully carried out at local level.

The current ManagEnergy Good Practice Case Studies are a selection of projects that are particularly suitable for replication by actors at regional and local level.

Selecting Good Practice case studies

All case studies submitted to ManagEnergy undergo a transparent evaluation process against previously established criteria. This is carried out by experienced practitioners who cover a range of policy and technical areas.

The process takes into account the economic and environmental value demonstrated by each project and, in particular, its ability to be replicated across Europe. The results of this selection are validated by the European Commission.
