ManagEnergy Good Practices
on Energy Education
In 2005, the DG Energy and Transport produced an Education on Energy - Case Studies Brochure which is available for download in several languages.
ManagEnergy has also produced three Good Practice Case Studies brochures (2004, 2005, 2007) each of which includes Education projects. These are all available as free PDF downloads from the ManagEnergy Good Practices home page.
ManagEnergy Case Studies on Energy Education
The following case studies relate to education and energy in a range of different ways. Some describe hands-on projects to teach older students about the technology behind renewable energy, or use of drama and games to teach energy efficiency.
Other case studies describe energy savings from introduction of more efficient lighting in school buildings and innovative travel-to-school schemes. What all these projects have in common is good ideas with simple sustainable goals that can be replicated in virtually any school or region of Europe.
