ManagEnergy KidsCorner Help
The ManagEnergy KidsCorner website is divided into three sections:
1.) A database of online energy education resources (i.e. energy websites) 2.) Interactive web pages for children aged 6-11 ManagEnergy 3.) Web pages for students aged 12-16 created by ManagEnergy
This Help Page provides an introduction to each section
1. Database of Online Energy Resources
This part of the KidsCorner enables you to search for links to energy education websites from across the world.
1.1 Searching
You can search for links in a number of different ways. This is made easy by a series of drop down menus. You may narrow down a search using any combination of terms in the menus.
For example you may select: French from the Language drop down list, and Animations from the Resources drop-down list
You can also enter a word or short phrase in the Keyword text field.
The search will then find any website that features that keyword within its description. Keywords can also be used in combination with the drop-down menus.
1.2 Results
When you click on Search you will be presented with a list of websites that match your search terms.
This includes the website title, country of origin, 2 letter language codes (e.g. EN=English, DA=Dansk, etc) and a brief description of the website.
To open a website, click on the >>website link. This will open that site in a new window. Neither the European Commission nor the developers contracted to maintain the database, are responsible for the content of third party sites (please see important disclaimer).
10 results are presented on each page. Links to more results are included at the bottom of each page, as follows:
View Pages >> 1 | 2 | 3 | 4
Simply click on a number to view more results.
2. Web pages for children aged 6-11

However, we hope that this website proves to be a useful tool for teachers across Europe when including sustainability and energy issues within classroom activities.
In particular, we hope the following resources will stimulate children to help reduce energy use at school and at home.
