Using the DataPlayer

The DataPlayer includes animated graphs showing energy use and CO₂ production statistics and forecasts for the European Union.

1 Select a data group from the index page.

2 Select a year or a category to compare energy demand or CO₂ production between different industry sectors, modes of transport and sources of power generation.

3 Click on the index button to select a new category.

About the Statistics

The data used to produce the animated graphs was taken from the following sources:

N.B. Most of the data refers to the EU25. There are now 27 EU Member States. However the statistics and forecasts were produced prior to Bulgaria and Romania joining the Union.
