Financing opportunities for Sustainable Energy in the next Multiannual Financial Framework (2014-2020)
Financing sustainable energy investments is an issue of great importance, especially in the context of the current economic and financial crisis. The EU is therefore stepping up its efforts to provide more financing resources for sustainable energy actions. But for these resources to be effectively used, innovative ways to combine public and private financing need to be explored and mainstreamed. The conference will address how the EU intends to address the challenges of financing sustainable energy investments in the next Multiannual Financial Framework 2014-2020.
ManagEnergy networking event: One day just for ... National Networks of Energy Agencies & Energy Agency Directors

Cities, regions, energy agencies, ESCOs, or any other project promoters from the public sector, or those acting on their behalf, will have the opportunity to talk to ELENA experts from the EIB, KfW and CEB, as well as desk officers responsible for the MLEI's project development assistance. Representatives of the European Energy Efficiency Fund will be available to meet with potential project promoters and discuss their investment projects.
Intelligent Energy Europe workshop
This half-day workshop will involve EUSEW participants in discussion about the three intervention areas of the successor to the IEE II programme: supporting EU policies; building capacity; and triggering investments. The workshop is one of a series of important consultations organised in the next few months by ENER/EACI to prepare the market uptake activities to be supported in the period 2014-2020. The event will mark the launch of the public consultation on the successor to the IEE II programme.
