Synopsis
Which bank would win the challenge to absolve the most kilometers cycled from home to work within 66 days? With "banker on bike" the city of Nürnberg called on all banks to join a specific campaign to promote travelling by bike on home-to-work-journeys. The around 230 participants worked in six different banks and absolved a total of 46,000 kilometers. After having received the daily figures from the banks, the municipal department for environment calculated the share of the cyclists out of the total of employees and published the results on a specific website. There, everybody could follow the status of the "66-day-race", the progress of the individual banks and of the initiative in general. The action was concluded with a big bike party.
