The Active Learning project is funded by the Intelligent Energy - Europe Programme. The project aims to reduce energy use in school buildings and homes by teaching children about rational use of energy, renewable energy sources, and transport through hands-on activities. Free Educational toolkits are now available online in 14 languages. These include activity sheets on Energy monitoring, Transport, Hot and cold water, Space heating, Lightning and Appliances. Each activity indicates the target age group it is aimed at, and includes links to related teaching aids and information.
