The European Wave Energy Thematic Network was established under the auspices of the European Commission's Energy, Environment and Sustainable Development Programme. One of the Network's key objectives is to publicise the activities and dynamism of the Wave Energy research and development community and to raise the profile of Wave Energy as an economically viable green energy source.
This web site has been designed to provide information to a broad audience of developers, potential investors, planners, RTD decision makers, politicians and the general public. The information presented constitutes a comprehensive review of technologies relevant to the Wave Energy field and gives an up to date overview of on going activities as well as other general information.
