Partner Search Request: SOLARIS, Croatia

Development Agency North DAN Ltd, Croatia, is looking for partners for an FP7 project, SOLARIS.

The main aim of the project is connecting regional companies that produce PV-Cells and other energy solar equipment with faculty and research institutes. The connected parties will then establish one independent solar laboratory that can be accredited for giving out certificates for solar modules and PV-Cells. This solar lab will be a small research institute in the field of solar process technology.

Project Activities

• Establishment of one solar laboratory whose main role will be the certification of work properties and performances of Photovoltaic cells or PV systems and solar collectors.
• The supply of a special climate barometric chamber which can monitor the dynamic work properties of PV-Cells by measuring temperature and pressure changes.
• The supply of special software and hardware for testing PV cell characteristics and their capacity.
• To supply and develop a unique software and hardware for continuous monitoring of dynamic characteristics of PV cells in different work conditions.
• Equipping a solar lab with the process equipment necessary for testing the effect of affray (hail) on PV-Cells.
• The exchange of activities with other partners across Europe, the main goal being the transfer of knowledge technology and experience.
• Organizing educational study tours.
• Publishing educational and promotional material
