Partner Search Request: School of Energy for Business Subjects and the Little School of Energy, Croatia

Development Agency North DAN Ltd, Croatia, is looking for partners for an IEE project.

The main aim of the project is the introduction of educational seminars and workshops on sustainable energy into elementary schools and companies. The output results will be different and very useful for a wide number of users, especially in the field of economic growth and development (being that energy is the driving force of the economy).

The main idea is to organize special educational seminars in the field of energy and environmental engineering technology to educate people from companies in the region on how to improve existing energy efficiency in technology processes, how to recover waste heat energy and how to improve their own energy management systems. One of the main aims will be the organization of special seminars for the industry branch on how to connect energy and environmental technologies in one unique circle.

Activities

Activities of the project will include education seminars and workshops with the following themes:

• Possibilities of energy consumption of biodegradable active sludge from biotechnology and food process industries
• Possibilities of energy consumption of biodegradable active sludge from waste water treatment process plants
• Possibilities of an increase of energy efficiency in technological industry processes - methodology for an increase of EE
• Raising awareness on the rational use of energy and importance of RES (renewable sources of energy)
• Education of children in elementary schools through interactive seminars and practical workshops to present the importance of energy and energy sources, especially RES and water; introducing them to problems which are connected with energy and environmental protection, with the goal of directing children to a future in the energy and environmental sector, which will be the main actuators or promoters of future economy growth and development
