Partner Search Request: Decentralised Intelligent Energy Solutions for Energy-efficient Buildings (DIESEB), UK

Climate Change Solutions Ltd, UK, is looking for partners for an IEE project DIESEB - Decentralised Intelligent Energy Solutions for Energy-efficient Buildings.

The DIESEB project aims are:

1. To conduct strategic studies on the basis of shared analysis and regular monitoring of market development and energy trends for the preparation for the implementation of the medium- and long-term strategy in the energy-efficient buildings field to promote sustainable development.
2. To promote the sustainability energy systems and equipment related to the energy-efficient buildings.
3. To develop the information, education and training structures to support the implementation of the Energy Performance of Building Directive.

This is to be achieved through a challenging work plan and a rich set of activities, including launch of large-scale education and training in the Member States to qualify the market for implementation of the Energy Performance of Building Directive. The project will come into agreement with universities, associations of installers, chamber of commerce and industry players to institutionalise the necessary education and training.

The Partnership will also conduct large-scale awareness-raising campaigns on behavioral aspects of use of buildings for the dissemination of information, awareness-raising and assistance of end users (households, local SMEs and young people). This campaign will be conducted in conjunction with the education and training initiative through the universities, associations of installers, chamber of commerce and Decentralised and Intelligent Energy Services Network, which includes more than 87 large organisations with UK, European and Global dimension experts in the energy-efficient buildings programme.

The Decentralised Energy Solutions project will work with the Better Buildings Partnership - Existing Buildings (BBP-EB) in order to promote and implement energy efficiency and building-renewal retrofits in industrial, commercial, institutional and multi-residential buildings with the goal to reduce carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions and to help reduce the threat of climate change by renewing the city's building stock.
