Partner Search Request: Development of Geothermal Heating & Cooling Systems in European Regions - GEO-HECO Regions, Spain
EREN - Ente Regional de la Energía de Castilla y León, Italy, is looking for partners for a project as described
below.
Objectives:
- To support policy development by GEO-H/C to heating.
- Transferring experience and improving understanding of the actual and potential contributions by
geothermal resources to heating and cooling consumption in the EU.
- Remove barriers.
- Stimulate market frameworks for Geothermal Heating and Cooling systems and supplies.
- To change the behaviour of decision-makers and GEO-H/C stakeholders so that they communicate
better and work to create more competitive products and services through economies of scale.
- To train more GEO-H/C professionals, technicians and craftsmen.
The Work Programme has been divided into 7 workpackages.
WP 1. Management and Coordination: Managerial and coordination project activities.
- Preparation of project meetings, programmes, allowances, etc
- Attendance project meetings.
- Elaboration of progress-interim and final report.
- Best practices-study tour (the deliverable will be included in WP5).
WP 2. Normative and standards: benchmark of procedures and legislations.
- Benchmark and develop innovative legislation, standards
- European list with official organisms, laboratories, etc.. related with geothermal heating and
cooling systems.
WP 3. Geothermal resources: identify available geothermal resources.
- Quantification of individual geothermal resources and systems
- Typify drillings.
WP 4. Geothermal potentiality. Tools for new markets: new market initiatives for geothermal
heating and cooling systems. Tools for implementing.
- An economical study on the geothermal sector analysing potential targets markets
- Different tools for improving the implementation of geothermal systems will be studied.
WP 5: Training in geothermal: training in geothermal heating and cooling systems focused on target
groups.
- Technical information for training.
- Transfer experience (know-how).
Work Package 6: Communication and Dissemination.
- Promotional geothermal campaign.
- Contributions to the Geothermal Regio-European Platform and new local geothermal platforms.
- Ways of dissemination: e-New GEO bulletin, Web page, etc.
Work Package 7: Common Dissemination Activities
- The work package covers resources to contribute, upon request by the IEEA,
to common dissemination activities to increase synergies between, and the visibility of
IEE-supported projects.
