Partner Search Request: Intelligent Energy Study Competition - INESCO, Hungary

Bay Zoltan Foundation for Applied Research, Hungary, is looking for partners for an IEE project as described below:

Project Objective:

Organising a two round (national and international) study competition for college and university students as the pilot competition of the future Europe wide campaign with the following topics:

Energy Efficiency
- Energy-efficient buildings
- Energy-efficient products and services
- Energy-efficient industrial applicants
- Energy-efficient agricultural applicants
Renewable energy sources
- Renewable electricity
- Renewable heating and cooling
- Domestic and other small scale renewable applications
- Biofuels
Sustainable Transportation
- Alternative fuels and clean vehicles
- Energy-efficient transport
Integrated initiatives
- Sustainable communities
- New, sustainable financing models
- New, sustainable policy models
- New, sustainable education models.

Planned activities:

Development of the web site of the project.
Involving sponsors for financing awards through post and personal meetings.
Development of the campaign elements like leaflets, internet banners, radio and TV announcements, etc.
Involving as many as possible colleges and universities in the partner countries through Letter of Invitations, meetings and the campaign.
Setting up the national assessment board from the delegated people of the involved universities.
Elaboration of the documentation of the competition.
Issuing the call for competition.
The project website will act as a platform for partner search for working out international studies in English, which after pre-selection directly goes to the final international contest.
Receiving the studies worked out in national languages with English summary.
Pre-selection by cross assessment methodology of the studies by the national assessment board.
Setting-up the jury from university lecturers and represents of the main sponsors.
National final contests and awarding in the four topics within the framework of a conference where the pre-selected students present their studies for the university lecturers and sponsors formed jury.
The four first prised students per partner countries, one for every topic translate their study in English and submit for international contest.
Setting up the international jury formed by experts of the different topics, sponsors and represent of IEE programme.
The final international contest and awarding during the European Sustainable Energy Week in Brussels where the national selected students present their studies for the jury.

Partnership:

Bay Zoltan Foundation for Applied Research plans to involve 8 EU countries like the following:

The consortium is looking for institutes such as research centres, energy offices, etc. who has the ability to organise the above mentioned competition in national level.

It is going to involve sponsors from the entrepreneur field as well, who will donate the prizes for the competitor students.
