Simurg ricerche indicates that one of the biggest limit of the use of the bike is the lack of places and services (for example: parks, rent, assistance, hygienic services, repair services and information) both for cyclists and for bicycles, specially in the public transport station (bus and trains).
Their project objective is to study and define a centre service model, useful to help a wider us of the bicycle in the urban mobility and the intermodal relations.
The first step concerns the knowledge of needs and requests of material structures and services for cyclists in the start and destination places of mobility and in the most important points of exchange in the south European cities.
At the same time, the project study how these structures and services can be offer and managed, through the analysis of existing experiences and promoting the exchange of best practices. In addition, it will be interesting check economical and social subjects that could be offer these services and the conditions for this offer.
