Report: Energies for Europe: Local Training Tools for European Internal Market

The objective of this project is to develop new training instruments that meet local energy management needs. These training modules must enable the local energy market managers to implement the changes that have been brought about by Community Directives regarding the internal energy market and provide students with an extra curricular advantage in their job hunting, using the Information Communication Technology.

"Energies for Europe" proposes a flexible training module and a knowledge development system based on two principles:

An extension of the skills of the territorial energy policy management and labour, and
The setting up of a teaching session for young people who, armed with this additional qualification, will soon be arriving on the labour market.

The training module includes:

The "Energies for Europe" website (see above)
A CD-Rom available at the Fedarene Office € 11, Rue du Beau-Site, B-1040 Brussels;
Two handbooks: one for self-training and the other for the trainers.

The "Energies for Europe" kit contains not only a description of the national electricity markets in Spain, Italy and Portugal, but also a database of the legislation in the field in these countries, presented in the three languages and in English.

The partners within the Project "Energies for Europe" are Provincia di Chieti, Fedarene, Alcoucer Consultores, Sedesa, Eliante, Fabiano Editore, Fire, Itis E. Fermi di Fuscaldo, Regione Abruzzo, Saip, Cisl, Assoelettrica, University of L'Aquila, Adene/Agen and Ineti.
