Summary

In the SUNtool project 6 European countries are represented and the consortium is composed of 7 partners who represent a compound of experience and knowledge needed to carry out an environmental modelling tool to support sustainable urban planning. The project aims to develop an environmental modelling tool and supporting knowledge base that enables planners of communities (architects, town planners, developers, etc) to rapidly define an optimal sustainable solution in terms of building design, site layout, the mix of uses and combination of energy saving and renewable technologies.

The EC shall fund up to a maximum of 49,6% of the total estimated eligible costs.
