The European Pellet Centre website provides pellet information from the Pellets for Europe project, which runs until medio 2005. The primary target group is professional pellet market actors across Europe.
The main aim for this European initiative is to support the development of the European pellet market. The centre contributes to an increased utilisation of high quality fuel pellets for energy purposes in Europe in order to help secure energy suppllies and decrease emissions of greenhouse gases.
The site includes News, Statistics, Market Database, Best Practice, R&D, Events, Links, Hotline and further information about the project and its partners.
The project is partly funded by the European Commission's Altener programme.
