Abstract: Although the vast majority of RE projects are established by commercial developers, some of them are financed by « ordinary citizens » pooling together through different schemes. This is particularly frequent in Denmark and Germany - possibly a key reason for the continuous and so successful growth of various RE sources in these countries.

Abstract: Bien que les investissements dans les énergies renouvelables soient très majoritairement le fait d'entreprises commerciales, certains sont financés par des regroupements de «citoyens ordinaires» qui peuvent se rassembler selon différentes modalités. Ceci est particulièrement fréquent au Danemark et en Allemagne et c'est probablement une des raisons majeures de la croissance spectaculaire et ininterrompue des nombreuses sources d'énergie renouvelable dans ces pays. Ce dépliant souhaite définir ce que l'on entend par investissement local, un argumentaire, des exemples ainsi que les pré-requis pour le développement de ce type d'investissement.
