Abstract
The Paderborn Windfarm consists of 11 wind turbines VESTAS V-66, 76m high, at each 1.65MW rated power (installed capacity=18.2MW). It is sited near Paderborn in North-Rhein-Westfalia, was initiated locally by a group of developers and is owned by 91 shareholders. Commissioning was in November 2000, therefore the economical background is the actual German Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG).
