Abstract

Since its creation, in 1974, the Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy (IDAE) has specialised in the deployment of a variety of measures aimed at the promotion of RUE and RES policies within the Spanish territory. These include incentives for the installation and operation of RES and RUE facilities, direct investment by means of innovative formulae, among which third party financing is one of the most effective, the organisation of large-scale dissemination events and campaigns to key actors and the offer of technical consultancy services to the public and private sector.
