Introduction

Throughout the Ecoprocura Conference 2006, held in Barcelona, many reflections, opinions and ideas were presented with the aim to make consumption habits more socially fair and environmentally responsible. This multiple event, which was integrated by EcoProcura 2006, the presentation of LEAP Project results about EMAS and Green Public Procurement as well as the 2nd International Green Purchasing Conference, was a way to join efforts in order to find solutions.

This document was a compilation of some experiences that were currently being implemented at different administrative levels in Spain at the time of the Conference. The publication includes Green Public Procurement examples of relevance to energy efficiency, renewable energy and green transport.
