EUSEW Partner Search No 11: Small scale biomass in rural areas

EU Connects West-Midlands proposes a project focused on promoting small scale biomass in rural areas by implementing a three pronged strategy:
- Awareness campaign - on biomass applications
- Analysis of training - eg needs amongst authorities, SMEs, farmers, and development of courses
- Policy and finance - implementation of best practice in financing mechanisms eg tax cuts, to facilitate installations and improve affordability.
Representatives from other regions are sought to develop and deliver this strategy and to share experiences in the three areas.
Partners could include trainers/educators; energy agencies/officers; local/regional authorities; bio energy actors eg forestry and agriculture; biomass companies; financiers/developers.
