EU Connects West-Midlands wants to use engineering departments of colleges and universities as training centres in motor vehicle engineering. Integrating a biofuel processor would enable training courses to be provided to students and other learners in biofuel processing techniques for converting sources of raw materials into biofuels and also the conversion of vehicles to run on biofuel.
Local mechanics and garages could also be trained using these facilities to improve local competence in biofuels. A training module would be developed including training materials for use in other areas.
Partners could include: Educational organisations; biofuels companies; colleges/universities; trainers; energy organisations/officers.
