The main focus would be on wind power schemes, although other technologies, such as biomass, would be included.
The purpose is to identify and examine what renewable developers can do to incentivise local communities to develop community renewable projects or projects developed within communities, and to encourage the acceptance of projects with planning authorities.
Developers of renewables may be renewable companies or associations, other companies or energy utilities for example.
Partners could include researchers/consultants; energy organisations; renewable technology developers.
