EU Connects West-Midlands presents a project the objective of which is to create an on-line version of the board-game "Monopoly®" adapted to convey climate change issues. A web portal will have two parallel platforms, one for pupils and one for teachers. Pupils will be able to learn about technologies and science. A package of resources and projects will be developed for teachers which will result in practical and technology actions in the school, among pupils, staff and parents. The actions performed will be recorded and reported and schools awarded points to reflect their achievements. There will be a league table of schools for each region/country and the best performing school at the end of the project delivery awarded a prize eg and energy efficiency or renewable energy installation.

Partners could include: Education bodies; energy organisations/officers; web technicians; local/regional authorities.
