ETA Florence Renewable Energies offers a project that aims to prove or further improve the technical reliability, energy-effectiveness, environmental and societal benefits of electric vehicles powered by renewable energy; to perform demonstrations in order to initiate market development and to evaluate performance and costs under different climatic, geographical and traffic conditions. They wish to to obtain supporters that will help further increase movement towards market development.

The project will be focused on maximum integration, meaning that the participating sites will implement exactly the same things in close co-operation in order to demonstrate a market development of electric vehicles and electric- vehicle networks powered by clean energy in at least 3 chosen sites in a maximum integrated public-private partnership of cities/regions, car manufacturers, electricity providers, charging stations manufacture and fleet owners combined with exactly targeted information campaigns. The following activities will be carrried out in order to achieve the objectives;

• Selection of at least 3 EU cities as pilot cases in order to develop electric-vehicle networks powered by renewable energy;
• Selection of a strong partner from the automotive industry to provide electric vehicles;
• Identification of the best renewable power generation system to be implemented in pilot case electric vehicle network [or selection of one or more secure energy companies able to provide clean energy for the sustainable transportation infrastructure];
• Realisation of charging stations powered by clean energy; Communication and dissemination, marketing campaigns towards different target groups such as company fleet operators, public users and citizens.
