Energy efficiency and renewable energies in business

Energieinstitut der Wirtschaft GmbH are interested in joining projects dealing with the improvement of energy efficiency of businesses, especially SMEs, and projects dealing with promoting and utilization of renewable energy projects.

They have already offered courses for and created a network of energy consultants in Austria, and are especially interested in projects about the qualification of energy consultants and auditors, and standardisation of related training.

Other main areas of interest include

• training/capacity building for building professionals (plumbers, installers, etc.) related to energy efficiency and renewables, in co-opoeration with their associations; -training for sales personnel on energy efficient appliances; -energy audits; -energy performance of commercial buildings;
• energy services & contracting;
• activities to promote energy-efficient driving among businesses;
• activities to promote utilization of renewable energy systems
