Azienda Energetica S.p.A. is involved in the distribution of electricity (including photovoltaics), gas and heat. The company wishes to improve its facilities aiming to design, develop and maintain the infrastructure needed for distribution, ensuring their efficiency and consistency with the highest European standards. It is also planning the construction of a wind farm in the town of Brenner.

Targets activities:

• Improvement of existing facilities;
• Design, development and maintenance of infrastructure for energy distribution;
• Continued investment in research and development in renewable energy;
• Expansion of the network of district heating supply of Merano;
• Construction of new hydropower plants and wind farms;
• Design, construction and repowering with other partners in power plants.
