The event was organised by AGESS (Agenzia per l'Energia e lo Sviluppo Sostenibile della Provincia di Forli Cesena) in association with the European Commission ManagEnergy Initiative and with the Patronage of: Italian Ministry of Productive Activities.

The ManagEnergy Training Workshop was dedicated to operators of energy agencies in order to tackle the issue of the primary importance of stable relationships between the agencies and the local institutions. That is the only way to allow them to supply valuable and specific services to the territory. On the other hand, the event dealt with the central role of agencies in applying new energy technologies, with a particular highlight to the EC Directive on the energy performance of Buildings (2002/91/EC).
