Synopsis

This mobility plan, specifically designed for disabled people, pretends to remove all architectural barriers preventing their access to the town's buildings, streets and beaches. The most important actions carried out are:

• all public buildings, and numerous private ones, have been fitted with the necessary infrastructure to enable access by disabled persons,
• throughout the beach area and in swimming pools, special ramps and toilets have been installed,
• in the city centre, in areas where road traffic is permitted, all sidewalks have been widened and fitted with adapted ramps at each pedestrian crossing,
• in areas a little further out from the city centre, all architectural barriers have been removed so as to enable easy access for all to the city centre from any district of the town.
