The European project "Wise-plans: Co-operation between Communities for Energy Action Plans" will deliver Sustainable Energy Action Plans (SEAPs) for more effective use and management of energy resources in Communities in four countries: Wales, Italy, Sweden and Spain. The partnership identifies communities in northern, western and southern Europe and includes public-sector bodies in diverse settings to include natural parks, urban and rural areas. The communities are at different stages of development in their use of renewable energy technologies and rational use of energy.

The SEAPs aim to reduce the emissions of carbon-dioxide by at least 5 per cent, through the implementation of actions taken by the four Communities.

WISE PLANS is supported by the Intelligent Energy - Europe programme and coordinated by Consorzio Parco Lombardo della Valle del Ticino, Italy.
